What’s new with Fortnite Season 7?
As of Thursday, December 6th, season 7 has begun on Fortnite. As with prior seasons, we expect this season to run approximately 10 weeks, giving you until the end of February 2019 to enjoy season 7. The new season has brought about quite a few changes. A large portion of the map has been altered, seeing an influx of wintry weather and snow. A fan favorite Greasy Grove is no more, but new named locations Polar Peak, Frosty Flights, and Happy Hamlet have joined the game. Magnetic zip lines can be found across the map, in both the wintry biome and unaltered areas of the map. These zip lines allow for fast travel and the ability to shoot at your enemies while traveling. Careful though, if you try to escape from the zip line while in mid air you will take fall damage!

The new X-4 Stormwing Plane also helps change the dynamics of the game. The plane can fire rapidly and can hold a total of 5 players including the pilot. The vehicles health is currently set at 800 HP, and once shot down the pilot can parachute down to safety. The Stormwing Plane will require you to adjust your gameplay a bit to accomodate for aerial fire, something Fortnite players have yet to have to deal with.

A new season means a new battle pass, and players can purchase their battle pass from the item shop for 950 v-bucks. Here at Fortnite Kings, we encourage players who have missed out on prior season’s battle passes to check out our collection of Fortnite Accounts, we hope that we have an account available to suit your needs!
Two other notable changes debuting with Fortnite Season 7 are weapon and vehicle wraps and the new creative mode. Weapon and vehicle wraps are skins that can be applied to your weapons, similar to the weapon skins present in other first person shooters such as Call of Duty and Halo. These wraps give you a chance to up your customization and really give your character a unique look. Creative mode is a new separate mode that has been debuted allowing players to create their own maps from the ground up, separate from the Island. Creative players from around the world have already started building recreations of maps from their other favorite games. Great versions of both Nuketown and Terminal from Call of Duty can be found.
